Job Title: Opentext Engineer - Nottingham
Location: Based in Nottingham 3 days a week
Salary/Rate: Up to £545 a day Inside IR35

Job Type: 6 Month Contract (with scope to extend)

Company Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled Opentext Exstream Expert to join our client in the Banking industry.

The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of the Opentext Exstream product suite and it's applications. This role requires expertise in managing, designing and optimising document composition solutions, along with a
strong experience with deploying and configuring Exstream across various environments. A strong foundation in software development, preferably with Java, is highly desirable.

Required Skills/Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Opentext Exstream, including design, configuration and deployment.
• Proven experience of deploying and configuring Opentext Exstream.
• Extensive knowledge of Opentext Exstream components and features, such as: Delivery Manager, Design Manager and Command Centre.
• Proficiency in handling batch and on-demand communication modes.
• Experience with data mapping, template design, and handling complex data structures.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug and troubleshoot Opentext Exstream issues effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

• Work as part of a cross-functional group of engineers supporting in-house developed applications.
• Design and implement customer communication solutions tailored to business requirements.
• Perform version upgrades for Opentext Exstream applications.
• Integrate Opentext Exstream with other business applications, ensuring seamless data flow and compatibility.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues relating to document composition, batch and Real Time data processing.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure related issues, including server performance and connectivity fromOpentext Exstream to third-party applications.
• Develop enhancements or integrations using Java or other relevant technologies to extend the Opentext Exstream functionality.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing and quality assurance process to maintain exceptionally high standards.

Desirable Skills/Experience

• Operational knowledge of Opentext Exstream hosted in a cloud infrastructure environment.
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification or above.
• Official Opentext Exstream training and/or certification
