Aufgaben
As Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for keeping our clients' productive environments alive. Join our agile and dynamic team, and contribute to the improvement and optimization of the infrastructure that sustains our platforms.
Your job's key responsibilities are:
- Setting up, operating, and optimizing customer applications and their infrastructure
- Developing and operating internal test and staging systems
- Applying modern container and cluster technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes, and open-source tools
- Preparing and implementing system architectures and operational concepts
- Ensuring the safety of the customer infrastructure and consulting in security, infrastructure, and application services
- Being part of the internal, cross-department incident management to find a solution quickly (on-call duty: approx. 5 times a month from 06:00 am-10:00 pm)
- Taking part in a continual enhancement of company-wide DevOps approaches (e.g. automation, monitoring)
Profil
Essential Skills
- 3+ years of work experience in the field of Web Operations
- Knowledge of CI/CD and Build Pipeline (e.g. GitLab, Jenkins)
- Experience in configuration management tools, such as ArgoCD and Terraform (IaC)
- Open, communicative, and team player personality
- Excellent communication skills in English (at least B2 levels)
Beneficial Skills
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Practical experience with Shell Scripting and coding with Python
- Communication skills in German

The actual salary depends on your qualifications and experience. What is also important to us is to pay our employees an internally comparable salary. For legal reasons, we need to disclose the minimum annual salary for full-time employment as stated in the current collective IT agreement, which is € 52,136 gross/year for this position.
