Your Role:

As an Optical Engineer, you will be a key member of a multidisciplinary engineering team, contributing to the research, design, and development of advanced optical systems. You will work on the architecture and performance of complex electro-optical systems, from lens design and simulation to integration and testing. Collaborating with internal teams and external partners, you will ensure that optical solutions meet business and industry standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of a 2:1 degree in Physics, Opto-Electronics, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of classical optics principles.
• Experience with industry-standard optical design tools such as OpticStudio, Code V, and FRED.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electronic design aspects of electro-optical systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a structured approach to resolving technical challenges.

Preferred Skills:

• MSc or PhD in applied optics or a related field.
• Experience in optical testing and system integration.
• Familiarity with laser optics and electro-optical system modeling.
• Proficiency in numerical, programming, and symbolic tools such as MATLAB, Mathematica, Python, or C++.
• Ability to contribute to the development of best practices in optical design.
