Oracle OBIEE Databricks Architect

Robert Half is supporting their client, a Global Consulting Firm, in looking for a Data Architect with Oracle OBIEE to Databricks experience to partner with them and become an associate. The associate will support the consulting firm in assisting with data migration from Oracle OBIEE to Databricks, focusing on optimising data architecture and integration.

Contract Assignment Details:

• Location: Location Near Basingstoke, Hampshire (Hybrid Working - 1 day per week)
• Duration: Initial 3-6 months Contract - programme up to end of 2025
• Day Rate: £550-600 per day via limited company
• Start: c.1-2 weeks turnaround subject to interview & onboarding checks with view of w/c 28/10 start

The Data Architect will need experience in:

• Leading data migration projects from Oracle OBIEE to Databricks
• Deep understanding of Datamodelling and design for large-scale data flows
• Expertise in transforming and integrating data, managing data feeds, and API design
• Experience with large business systems transformations, managing hundreds of data feeds and complex data architecture

Nice to have:

• Experience with AWS Databricks for cloud-based data architecture solutions
• Knowledge of data security practices and compliance standards in cloud environments
• Hands-on experience with Databricks Delta Lake for optimising data lake architecture
• Familiarity with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, and Glue for data processing and storage
• Proficiency in managing data pipelines in Databricks, particularly in an AWS environment
