Part-Time Primary School Teacher

Location: Portsmouth

Position: Part-Time Primary School Teacher

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £130-£150 per day

Position Overview:We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Part-Time Primary School Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will have a positive and nurturing attitude, with a strong commitment to creating a stimulating and safe learning environment for our students. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about education who is looking to work in a supportive and dynamic school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons in line with the primary school curriculum.
  • Foster a positive learning environment where students feel supported and motivated to achieve their best.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of all learners, including those with special educational needs.
  • Track and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan and participate in school activities.
  • Promote the school's values and ethos in all aspects of teaching and learning.

Essential Criteria:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting (either as a fully qualified teacher or in a support role).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passionate about supporting the academic and personal growth of children.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience in a specific subject area (e.g., Maths, English, SEN).
  • Knowledge of any specific educational approaches used in the school .
  • A proactive attitude towards professional development and learning.
