Job Description

We are a small London based Social Media Agency and are now searching for a creative and strategic part time Social Media Manager, passionate about social media and deeply interested in the creator economy. We currently manage social media for a diverse range of clients varying from skincare products to interior design. We have regular contact with these clients (whatsapp, phone, email and in person) to create various social media strategies to aid them in growing their businesses.

You'll be entrusted with direct client communication and have the chance to play an integral role in shaping the future of their social media presence. This role is ideal for someone who excels in crafting and curating engaging content, growing online communities, and driving brand visibility across platforms. Your days will be packed with a variety of tasks as highlighted below:

Responsibilities:

  • Community Engagement - Reactively and proactively communicating with clients' followers, customers and influencers, across a range of social media platforms.
  • Client Communication - On-going communications with our clients, reporting back to them regularly about the activity across their social media accounts.
  • Research - Conduct research on any changes to captions, hashtags, trends and algorythm changes.
  • Social Media Strategy Development - Work together with our cilents to generate the best strategy for their respective businesses.
  • Performance Analysis & Optimisation. Analyse the performance of social media campaigns using tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Insights, and others. Use data-driven insights to make informed recommendations and adjustments to improve results.
  • Innovate - Find new unique ways to draw in more clients for Social Drip (a commission structure is put into place)
  • Content Scheduling and Posting. Handling the daily posting of client content (e.g. Facebook Posts, Instagram Stories, TikToks etc.), working closely with our creative team.
  • Copywriting. Write well written English across captions, posts, private messages etc., adjusting tone of voice on a client-by-client basis.

Requirements:

  • You must be able to commute to Hampton or Hounslow with relative ease.
  • You will need to be familiar with all the popular editing and scheduling software

  • Social media experience. 3-4+ years of experience working in social media, either in-house with a brand or with an agency.
  • Passion for digital media and brands. You must show a strong understanding of our core services and have a real fascination for how brands use digital marketing to grow their business.
  • Organised and diligent. The onus is on you to keep your work and systems in check, tracking client account performance, ongoing communication with influencers, scheduled content, and more.
  • Strategic thinking. Ability to contribute to long-term social media strategies that drive growth and brand development, while staying ahead of trends and opportunities.
  • Data-driven mindset. Experience with social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Insights, Iconosquare) and the ability to analyse data, derive insights, and recommend optimisations.
  • Project management skills. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects across different client accounts, balancing competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Creative problem-solving. Proactively identifying challenges and providing creative solutions to enhance client success in social media marketing.
  • Understanding of paid social campaigns. Familiarity with social media advertising platforms (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, TikTok Ads).
  • Technical proficiency. Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Later) and an ability to quickly adapt to new platforms and technologies.
  • Excellent writing skills. This is an essential skill for this role, as the successful candidate will need to write well-crafted English in a variety of tones. Strong copywriting experience would therefore be very useful.

Initial interview will be held via zoom followed by 2nd interviews being held in person.
