Job Description
Temporary Accommodation Support Worker Provide day-to-day support and guidance to residents in temporary accommodation. Assist with the coordination of services and resources to meet residents' needs. Conduct regular check-ins and assessments to monitor residents' progress. Liaise with external agencies and service providers to facilitate access to additional support. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all interactions and services provided. Support residents in developing skills for independent living and accessing permanent housing.
Requirements:Previous experience in a support worker role, preferably within housing or social services. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others. Knowledge of local services and resources in Greater Manchester is an advantage.
