Partner Development Manager

Our global IT client has an exciting new opportunity for a Partner Development Manager to join their sales organisation who collectively are accountable for the commercial partner business.
We are looking for an individual who brings their work ethic, enthusiasm, optimism, and passion for the customer to foster growth and change within our client's partner ecosystem. You will leverage your challenger mindset, sales management skills, analytical and data handling abilities, and best in class interpersonal abilities to enable our client to best support their partners.
This opportunity will give you an end to end view of our client's business, supporting partners that cover all customer segments and Solution Areas. You will also build relationships with key stakeholders within our client's partner ecosystem.
Partner performance and Impact- Responsible for improving the insights around partner performance. You will utilise internal reporting to create benchmarking, identify actionable insights and empowering us to report on performance against KPIs. You will identify and suggest improvements to the team RoB.
- Embrace AI technology to streamline processes, freeing up time to support partners on strategic initiatives.
- You will collaborate closely with our client's Partner Development Managers and their v-teams to develop partner business plans with our client's goals and objectives for managed partners to grow their business.
- You will work with key stakeholders within our partner ecosystem (alliance teams and sales leadership), providing insights that will identify opportunities and risks to inform their go to market and co-sell execution tactics.
- You will facilitate collaboration between partner and sales teams to overcome obstacles, compete, and create proposals to meet consumption and revenue targets.
- You will use data and sales team feedback to identify potential new partners with a focus on building out AI capability & capacity in the market.
- You will work with new partners, offering them onboarding advice and guidance.
- You will represent the partners and support the orchestration resolution to complex and urgent escalations. You will engage across groups internally and with the partner organisation to accelerate performance and execution.
- You will support Channel Leadership Team in preparing for business reviews, team meetings and projects.
- Experience communicating with proficiency in English (both written and verbal), and an ability to deliver business and technical topics with clarity and accuracy to internal and external stakeholders across all seniorities.
- Experience of working in a technology company.
- Demonstrable understanding of how Scale and Services partners operate.
- Must be proactive and work on own initiative.
- Strong analytic/Excel/Power BI skills, must be able to read and interpret data.
- Experience of interacting with customers/partners.
- Experience working with services or scale partners a plus.
- Experience with AI a plus, but ability to learn this is a must.
This is a PAYE role to start ASAP until June 2025 (with potential to extend to a full 18-month contract), paying in the region of £240 per day (depending on experience).
The role is required on a hybrid basis.
