The RoleWe are looking for a Partnerships Manager to scale customer acquisition and grow our presence in Austria through marketing partnerships, a core channel for Readly. This role offers significant ownership, creativity, and strategic influence with substantial growth potential.
As Partnerships Manager, you'll expand our partner portfolio, lead strategic development, and oversee execution. Reporting to the Head of Marketing Partnerships based in Berlin, you'll play a key role in our mission to cultivate brand awareness and subscriber growth.
Your Responsibilities
Partnership Portfolio Development
Identify and secure strategic partners aligned with Readly's goals.
Lead prospecting, outreach, negotiation, and partnership execution.
Continuously optimize the partner portfolio to meet growth objectives across all stages of the customer lifecycle.
Oversee performance reporting, annual planning, and forecasting.
Strategic Planning & Collaboration
Translate overarching strategies into actionable goals and OKRs.
Collaborate with global marketing and local country teams to refine and optimize strategies.
Data-Driven Insights
Analyze data to identify growth opportunities and develop actionable plans.
Drive subscriber growth through partnerships by executing tailored strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with the Publisher Content, Product, Tech, Legal, and Finance teams to align and streamline initiatives and optimise the full user journey for partnerships.
Austrian Market Expertise: Deep understanding of local brands, market trends and dynamics.
Professional Experience: At least 6 years in Partnerships, Marketing, Sales, or Business Development, with strong digital and affiliate marketing experience. Background in digital subscriptions is a plus.
Network Access: Ideally, you have connections in telco and loyalty sectors.
Exceptional Communication Skills: Fluent in English and German, with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Negotiation Expertise: Proven ability to lead successful contract negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
Hands-on & Entrepreneurial: A proactive, self-starter with a strong work ethic who thrives in fast-paced environments.
Team Player: Collaborative mindset with a natural ability to build trust and relationships.
