Job Title People Partner (m/f/d) Fixed-Term 12 Months Job Description

The People Partner (m/f/d) is responsible for giving advice and guidance to people leaders on employee lifecycle topics, in line with local rules and regulations and global policies and guidelines. The role applies basic change management techniques to enhance operational efficiency and supports departmental transformations. The role ensures effective execution of People processes and fosters strong professional relationships with business contacts and People Partners, addressing routine issues with judgment and adherence to policies.

As a People Partner (m/f/d) at Philips Böblingen, you will be part of a highly motivated and professional HR team serving our market-leading Patient Monitoring Business Unit. You accompany people processes and act as a sparring partner for management.

This position is temporary until 31 March 2026.

Your job:

  1. Deliver professional operational people support on employee lifecycle topics. Support and advise supervisors and employees, including implementation of all individual personnel measures (e.g., salary development, transfers, termination of employment relationships).
  2. Interface with business contacts at the department level and with (international) People Business Partners, fostering strong professional relationships and ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  3. Interface with our centers of expertise such as People services and Talent Acquisition to achieve business-supporting HR solutions.
  4. Preparation of personnel planning and implementation of the measures derived from it.
  5. Cooperation with works councils on all measures subject to co-determination, such as individual personnel measures, assisting negotiations of works agreements, restructuring measures, and organizational changes. Apply local rules and regulations and labor relations policies and agreements to maintain compliance with established practices.
  6. Processing of labor law cases, if necessary, in cooperation/with the support of (external) legal experts.
  7. Preparation and implementation of organizational change measures as well as coaching of managers before and during organizational changes.
  8. Implementation of new and further development of existing people processes.
  9. Implementation and support of the annual salary and appraisal rounds for employees covered by collective bargaining agreements and non-collective bargaining agreements.
  10. Preparation and implementation of the talent review process.

The job suits you if:

  1. You have successfully completed your bachelor's or master's degree in HR management or business administration with a focus on HR or psychology or equivalent.
  2. You have worked as an HR Manager/People Partner for at least 2 years, ideally in a complex, international environment.
  3. You have a good understanding of German Labor law (individual & collective labor law).
  4. You have a modern people partner and new work mindset and know agile working methods.
  5. You are solution-oriented and have the ability to learn and creativity among your strengths.
  6. You have good analytical skills to be able to translate data into measures and actions.
  7. You have strong communication and negotiation skills.
  8. You drive topics and deal constructively with conflict situations.
  9. You are fluent in German and English.
