My client are looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join their innovative team. This role is crucial for driving technical change and improving the efficiency of data management and processing. The successful candidate will be instrumental in analysing business processes and making technical recommendations aligned with their goals of delivering outstanding services to our communities.

• Contribute to the success of the Data and Insight Service by supporting decision-makers with valuable data insights.
• Translate business requirements for change into technical specifications and support their delivery.
• Research and analyse business processes, considering both human and technical factors.
• Identify areas for improvement, assess feasibility, analyse change effects, and define success measures.
• Elaborate on user and business needs for effective design, development, and testing of data services.
• Prioritise projects and products by taking a value-led approach to ensure alignment with Council goals.
• Foster a culture of impact, outcomes, and value for money within the services.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to gather and analyse data requirements.
• Encourage collaboration and share best practices for continuous improvement in data management.
• Apply agile practices to support ongoing service enhancements.

• Must pass a basic DBS check.
• Professional qualification or significant experience in technical business analysis within a large organisation.
• Experience with IT system analysis, database interrogation using SQL, and data modelling.
• Knowledge of the full software development life cycle.
• Demonstrable experience with DevOps and Agile principles.
• Skilled in managing outcomes, prioritising work, and adhering to MVP priorities and scope.
• Proficient in analysing complex technical business problems and opportunities.
• Capable of conducting options analysis, assessing feasibility, and contributing to business case development.
• Experience in leading the design and implementation of technical business solutions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
