Job Description
Permanent Drama Teacher position - Nottingham
Hays are working in partnership with a secondary school based in Nottingham who are looking for a Drama Teacher to join their team. You will also be required to teach some English lessons. You should be enthusiastic, engaging and passionate about working with young people and have recent experience teaching Drama and/or English to KS3 and KS4 students. This is a full-time and permanent position starting in January.

You should be enthusiastic, engaging and passionate about working with young people and have recent experience teaching Drama and/or English to KS3 and KS4 students. Job Description:
- Delivering engaging and creative Drama and some English lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
- Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
- Contributing to the development of the department's curriculum.
- Participating in extracurricular activities such as sports clubs and school trips.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECT's welcome to apply.
- Bachelor's degree in Drama or related field
- Recent experience teaching Drama and/or English at secondary school level.
- Strong behaviour/classroom management.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
