Piping Designer

Vulcain Engineering Belgium is looking for a Piping Designer to join its team in Wallonia.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

• You will carry out design studies based on project data and applicable technical standards and codes.
• You draw up piping plans such as layout plans, component lists, permit files, construction drawings, isometrics, etc.
• When designing, you take into account aspects such as ergonomics, practical feasibility, safety and cost.
• You ensure the follow-up and quality of studies
• You contribute to the further standardization of concepts and materials, and to the processing of technical comments.
• You will contribute to guaranteeing the quality of asset data through as-built files.

ABOUT YOU:

• You have a bachelor's degree in a technical field, or the equivalent through experience
• At least 5 years' experience in a similar position, combined with a versatile and multidisciplinary knowledge of technical installations, preferably in an industrial environment
• Experience in piping / ducting within industrial plants is an added advantage for your application
• Fluent in French and English
• Solid knowledge of 2D and/or 3D design software (Microstation and/or AutoCAD, Plant 3D, etc.)
