What You'll Do

As a Practice Area Senior Manager within BCG's Travel, Cities and Infrastructure Practice Area (PA), you will be sought as a thought partner, supporting leadership in setting the strategic agenda and defining implementation activities for the business while also providing ad hoc support for priority initiatives across the PA. You will work closely with PA leadership to drive coordination and development of the PA business. Other tasks include business analysis and planning, lead organization, internal communication and affiliation activities. In addition, you will manage the commercial plan and monitor the state of the business (e.g. lead flow, proposal pipeline and sold cases), reaching out to relevant Client Officers/Managing Directors. You will provide inputs to the Practice's Marketing Partner and Marketing Manager to plan publications, newsletters, internal and external events for the PA; develop a SATT strategy for the PA and plan activities; own the PA's content on and Perspectives and be the liaison to industry platforms and associations that the sector partners with. The Travel, Cities and Infrastructure (TCI) PA focuses on Infrastructure, travel, transportation, cities, real estate and logistics which form a significant and very dynamic part of the global economy. Massive amounts of public and private capital are flowing into physical infrastructure upgrades as well as sweeping changes driven by digitization and the climate transition. Very significant public and private entities exist in this space with bold ambitions over the coming decade. The PA covers a range of sectors including Transport, Travel & Leisure; Cities, Real Estate & Tourism and Logistic, Postal & Shipping; we also work very closely with our Public Sector and PIPE PAs. These topics also have far-reaching effects in areas such as climate resilience, holistic liveability, sustainable mobility and equality.



What You'll Bring

  • 8 - 10 years of relevant experience
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Role related certifications preferred
  • Ability to manage and drive area of accountabilities, contributing to higher level agenda setting
  • Ability to lead more complex, broader sub functional teams or projects fully independently and provide direction to others
  • Ability to resolve complex issues and non-defined problems autonomously, with full business acumen
  • Strong interpersonal skills, credibility
  • Ability to influence senior members of the PA and beyond
  • Ability to respect sensitive client, BCG, and people related information as personal and confidential
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge in Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
