  • Your new roleMy client is looking for a highly ambitious, self-motivated Principal/Associate Landscape Architect to join the team and provide top-notch Architectural services. They value pragmatism, capability, dynamism, progressiveness, and spirit, and seek someone who embodies these qualities.

    The position is based in their Birmingham office, with the expectation of working on various projects across the UK. They have a multidisciplinary team of circa 60 whom you'll occasionally work with.

    They work on a range of projects including (not limited to):
    - Residential
    - Commercial
    - Solar power/energy
    - Indirect EA work

    Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Overseeing all aspects of landscape projects, including resource allocation, budgeting, scheduling, and risk assessment.
  • Design and Planning: Creating detailed plans and drawings using CAD software, and ensuring these designs meet client needs and environmental standards.
  • Client Interaction: Meeting with clients to discuss their requirements, presenting design proposals, and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Team Leadership: Leading and mentoring a team of landscape architects and consultants, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work.
  • Environmental Analysis: Analysing environmental reports and incorporating sustainability and conservation recommendations into designs.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring all projects comply with relevant codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Business Development: Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to expand the client base and increase revenue.
  • What you'll need to succeed
  • Be a Chartered Landscape Architect.
  • A degree in Landscape Architecture.
  • A proven track record of professional experience, with a background in consultancy.
