This is a brand-new role and will be a key member of our highly successful Digital team. This newly created position will manage a new development team that forms part of our digital factory. This role requires a mix of digital know-how, technical expertise, and business partnering. The right person will work closely with technology, the finance team and other Product Owners to implement new capability like payment methods, manage enhancements to the existing landscape and monitor and own key performance indicators (e.g. error rates) across the experience.
You'll be responsible for prioritising and delivering the payments roadmap for easyJet holidays. This role will add value by delivering enhancements to our payment systems that are efficient, secure, and customer-friendly; enhancing the effectiveness of payment pages across the business, reducing payment error rates, and driving conversion rates.
This is a permanent vacancy, based in Luton (Hybrid Working).
What you'll be doing
- Represent the easyJet holidays Digital Team and be the key liaison point with Business/IT stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into market leading online experiences for payments.
- Use a mixture of customer insight, analytics, usability results, and best practice knowledge to recommend, prioritize, shape and deliver improvements, often working with UX consultants and agencies.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless payment processes, as well as working with other Product Owners to enhance their UX.
- Ensure legal & regulatory compliance of areas of responsibility.
- Drive a programme of continuous improvement to optimise areas of responsibility and enhance usage & customer experience.
- Manage the integration of new payment methods and support the business through the change management of this, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards as you go.
- Maintain a pipeline of development priority improvements proactively identifying areas of opportunity through internal feedback, analysis and customer insight.
- Working with Business Analysts drive the requirements capture for areas of responsibility to deliver clear, concise UX requirements.
- Support delivery teams (internal and external) & represent Digital team at Project Sizing, Estimation and Sprint Planning meetings.
- Support and assist internal teams (e.g. Finance, Customer, Commercial and Legal) and act as Digital team ambassador to recommend, shape and deliver a compliant and market leading online customer experience.
What you'll bring to the team
- Experience as a Product Owner working within Payments.
- Previous experience of implementing payment methods, with a strong knowledge of payment systems and regulations.
- Ability to understand and work through functional and nonfunctional requirements for payment solutions.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end process when it comes to working on payment solutions.
- Experience working within an agile framework.
- Experience leading and motivating development teams. Highly numerate and commercially aware to be able to report on the success of own work.
- Knowledge of analytics and tracking tools.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, often changing environment.
