Program Manager - Supplier Operations Excellence

Program Manager - Supplier Operations Excellence vacancy for a globally operating Basel based company in the Pharma sector.

Your tasks:

• Driving process improvements across supplier manufacturing operations using Lean Six Sigma methodologies, value stream mapping, and root cause analysis
• Managing cost structures through should-cost modelling and TCO analysis to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities
• Optimizing manufacturing and packaging processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and uphold high-quality production standards
• Leading cross-functional teams and large-scale operational improvement programs, ensuring alignment between internal stakeholders and external partners
• Delivering training on Lean principles, process optimization techniques, and cost management strategies to build team capabilities
• Collaborating with suppliers to embed best practices and achieve continuous improvement in manufacturing across diverse dosage forms

Your experience/knowledge:

• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, operational excellence, and pharmaceutical packaging processes across all dosage forms
• Expertise in test methods and process efficiencies for primary and secondary packaging
• Proven ability to implement Lean initiatives, including Black or Green Belt, and drive process improvements in manufacturing or production environments
• Extensive experience in should-cost modelling, cost management, and financial analysis
• Demonstrated proficiency in optimizing packaging processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness within the pharmaceutical industry
• Language skills: English
