Project Manager

Our Contingent Workforce Solutions (CWS) service partner with Zurich to support contingent recruitment hiring. On behalf of Zurich, AMS are looking for a Project Manager for a 3-6 Month hybrid contract based in Swindon/London (occasional travel on average once a month).

In the UK, Zurich provide a suite of general insurance products covering business, casualty, motor, property and travel insurance, life insurance and pensions products to individuals and corporate customers. We employ over 4,500 people in the UK and are based across a number of locations with our head office being in Swindon.

Purpose of the Role:

The Project Manager will sit within the Compliance team and will play a vital part in leading and managing a project focused on mitigating financial crime risks while also performing business analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiency. This role requires a blend of project management expertise and business analysis skills to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with business goals.

Responsibilities of the role:

As a Project Manager you will be responsible for:

• Leading a financial crime prevention project, developing plans, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely, within-budget delivery.
• Demonstrating strong Business Analysis skills and able to identify and document business requirements while analysing data trends, developing business cases, and recommending process improvements.
• Building strong relationships, facilitating meetings, managing expectations, and ensuring stakeholder needs are met.
• Implementing quality processes, conducting reviews and ensuring compliance with organisational standards.

What we require from the Project Manager:

• Proven Project Management experience, leading and managing projects from initiation to closure, establishing structure, setting time frames and milestones, integrating these into a project management view and overseeing progress to ensure milestones are met.
• Proven Business Analyst experience, able to identify and document business requirements, processes, and work flows; analyse data to detect trends and anomalies. Able to develop business cases, feasibility studies, and cost-benefit analysis to support project proposals, recommend process improvements.
• Financial background/financial knowledge and/or experience in regulatory environment (desirable).
• (Insurance knowledge as bonus).
• Financial crime experience (desirable).
