Position: Operations Manager

Location: Germany - Berlin, Ketzin or Hemau

Our client, a leader in the pre-owned car market is looking for a Operations Manager to join the production team which ensures vehicles are professionally refurbished and ready for their platform.

They're creating innovating supply chain processes from the ground up to delivery top-quality cars straight to customers doorsteps. Working amongst the project team, you'll be an integral part of this transformative journey.

Role Responsibilities:

• Manage the design, development, and expansion of infrastructure for one of the in-house production sites to enhance production capacity and streamline work flows for the retail brand.
• Manage communication with business partners across Germany, independently negotiating contracts to expand and standardise retail projects nationwide.
• Take ownership of cross-location work flows, coordinating goal achievement internally and externally using forecasts, existing tools, and self-designed systems.
• Analyze evolving business processes and implement measures to improve operations, ensuring scalability and seamless day-to-day activities.
• Drive the implementation of new IT features, from drafting specifications to successful rollouts.

What are we looking for?

• A degree in business administration, supply chain management, industrial engineering, business informatics, mechanical engineering, logistics, or a related field.
• Prior experience in a startup, management consultancy, fast-growing company, or the automotive sector is a plus.
• High flexibility and a willingness to travel for on-site project implementation.
• Strong hands-on mentality, ownership mindset, and solution orientation.
• Exceptional analytical and presentation skills, with entrepreneurial thinking and decisiveness.
• Fluent in both German and English.
