Project Manager High Voltage Product Development (f/m/div)

Please note: This position is to be filled in Dresden, so the location is Dresden. As a part of the Automotive/ATV division, the High Voltage product line (HV) provides innovative semiconductor power device products and solutions for highly efficient drive technologies for electric vehicles. In this challenging new job, you are acting as project manager for Automotive High Voltage product development. Within that you will be responsible for the project execution and controlling of development projects for new IGBT, diode and SiC MOSFET products. You are responsible for the product and system performance, schedule, budget, quality and product cost. Become part of this team and shape the future of e-mobility together with us!
In your new role you will:

• Plan, control and execute development projects for new IGBT, diode and SiC MOSFET products and work in cooperation with various Infineon sites from Munich to USA and Malaysia
• Form, guide and motivate cross functional project teams and create energy and commitment by explaining and providing opportunities for your team members
• You take on full project manager responsibilities including the overall project planning, development target alignments, resources, budget as well as professional risk management
• Act as overall project manager including the role as project owner of subordinate projects and align cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders
• Maintain the overview and understanding of the technical background and interdependencies in order to proactively identify and solve complex challenges
• Consult and act as interface to internal and external customers (e.g. Application Engineering, R&D, Project Management, Sales and other departments)

Your ProfileYou are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or similar fields, preferable a PhD
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience in the semiconductor industry, thereof 3 years as a project leader preferably in the area of chip development
• Preferable a technical understanding of power electronic device physics, wafer technology development and semiconductor processing
• A proactive mindset with strong communication and moderation skills to align between various stakeholders and therefore excellent English skills, German as a plus
• The ability to understand and structure complex project situations: manage crisis situations, consolidate and present those to senior management level
