The role:

As a Propositions Manager at YuLife, you will play a key role in shaping the development of YuLife's propositions with strategic insurer partners and ensuring the successful execution and delivery of the GTM strategy. You will collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, partnerships, and commercial teams to ensure that YuLife's offerings meet the needs of the market, customers, and our insurer partners.

Day to day responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Strategic Partner Proposition Development

  • Develop customer-centric propositions that align with the insurer partner and YuLife's company's objectives and brand positioning.
  • Create compelling presentations that help to articulate our capabilities to insurer partners.
  • Analyze competitor offerings, market trends, and customer insights to ensure that YuLife's propositions remain innovative, competitive, and relevant.
  • Collaborate with internal product and marketing teams to continuously improve and iterate on propositions based on key metrics and performance data.

Go-To-Market Strategy

  • Work closely with insurer partners to develop and execute GTM strategies for new and existing propositions, ensuring alignment with both YuLife's business goals and insurer requirements.
  • Create sales and marketing collateral and enablement plans to ensure business readiness and alignment with key strategic carrier partners.
  • Assist in defining market entry strategies and crafting compelling value propositions for various market segments.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurer partners, ensuring smooth collaboration and mutual success.

Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Leverage customer and partner data to analyze and assess the success of propositions and inform future iterations.
  • Report on key metrics and KPIs, such as revenue generation, customer engagement, and market share.
  • Use insights to continuously refine propositions, improve customer satisfaction, and drive business growth.

Industry Awareness

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in the insurance, health, and wellness industries to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • 3+ years of experience in proposition development and GTM strategy and execution, ideally within the insurance, fintech, or health/wellness sectors.
  • Exceptional communication and copywriting skills with the ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of the insurance landscape and experience working with insurer partners and intermediaries.
  • Data-driven approach with the ability to interpret market trends, customer insights, and performance metrics to inform decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple teams to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to evaluate complex data and provide actionable insights.
