A warm and welcoming school in Maidenhead is on the search for a 1:1 Support Assistant to join their team starting as soon as possible.

Your role as a 1:1 Support Assistant:

As a 1:1 Support Assistant, your main duty will be to provide support to children facing learning difficulties. You will engage with them and help them access their education in different ways. You will become a pillar of support for these children and help them reach their academic milestones. You will also support the class teacher and assist with the general running of the classroom. Additionally, you may be asked to provide support during class outings and help supervise outdoor activities.

The children in this school face various learning difficulties, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Dyslexia, Speech Impediments, and Asperger's. Your role will primarily involve supporting these students to ensure they can access their education alongside their peers.

The successful 1:1 Support Assistant:

The ideal candidate will be calm, work well under pressure, and possess a positive and encouraging personality. Experience working with children is preferred, along with a willingness to learn.
