Purchase Ledger Supervisor

Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working with a national and well recognised business based in the heart of Sheffield that are looking for a Purchase Ledger Supervisor to join their team on a full time & Permanent basis.

This is a newly created role due to the continuous growth the business has experienced over multiple years, and it promises to be a new and exciting challenge for the person coming into the position.

Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Group Purchase Ledger Manager helping to manage the efficient running of the Purchase Ledger function
• Processing invoices, statement reconciliations and query handling
• Establishing and maintaining strong working relationships
• Ensuring suppliers are paid to agreed terms
• Actively managing supplier disputes
• Conducting regular ledger reviews
• Maintaining all email inboxes
• Taking a lead role in new system and process implementation

Skills and Experience Required:

• Good communicator and ability to build strong relationships
• Strong Excel skills including Pivot tables and VLOOKUPS
• Experience working within a similar supervisory role
• High degree of attention to detail
• Confidence when dealing with senior members of the finance team and wider business
