Job Description

Reporting to the QA Manager, the role of the QA Coordinator (Frontline Manufacturing) is to provide QA support across all manufacturing areas, as part of the Front Line QA organisation.

Responsibilities

  • To provide first line supervision and direction to the team.

  • To work collaboratively with the other QA Coordinators working within FLQA to support coordination of team tasks.

  • To ensure that other team objectives are achieved and to monitor this progress, suggest execution of the work plan, suggest and implement improvements to it.

  • To support the batch release process within QA.

  • This will be done through awareness of the batch release plan and targeted resolution of quality issues for batches according to the planned release date. This will also involve progression of deviations, change controls, CAPA and other elements of the quality systems accordingly.

  • To promote a Safety, Quality and cGMP culture in the team and across the site.

  • To ensure appropriate standards of cGMP, housekeeping, Health, Safety and Environment are applied in the team and site responsibilities, observing current regulations and procedures. To be permanently inspection ready and prepared to participate as applicable.

  • To participate in improvement project teams where required driving quality decisions and provide advice and technical support where required. Coordinate completion of any resulting activities. Demonstrate problem solving within cGMP constraints and align with best practice.

  • To support team development through feedback to encourage optimal performance. To ensure mandatory training is in place and monitoring the training status of the team. To manage organisational change and process improvements as applicable.

  • To deputise for the manager for example in preparation for and running the morning meetings. To escalate any areas of risk including both product and personnel issues.

Education Requirements

Graduate level in relevant discipline or suitable alternative or equivalent experience within industry

Experience Requirements

Experience of Quality Assurance systems, procedures and industry practices

QA experience desirable

This position is a 12 month fixed term contract opportunity
