Quantity Surveyor - Permanent - Oxford - Main Contractor - Water Schemes - Civil Engineering

Your new company
You will be joining an established main contractor working on water schemes for high-profile clients. This organisation has a strong pipeline of work in the water sector and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Quantity Surveyor to join their highly successful team. This is a permanent position based in the Oxford area with flexible working.

Your new role
As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Producing and providing accurate forecasts of project costs to completion/final value
  • Managing subcontractor accounts
  • Monitoring cash flow and valuation plans
  • Managing subcontractor tender processes
  • Providing accurate reports of costs and values on the projects.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have:
  • Experience at an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor level
  • Good working knowledge of NEC form of contract
  • Sound interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Experience working on water projects (ideal).
