Permanent quantity surveyor job within the steel industry based near Wickford

They work closely with their customers to design, manufacture and install, bringing projects to life from inception through to completion. Your new role
As a quantity surveyor within the team, your responsibilities will include:

Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for steel construction projects.

Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses.

Manage and monitor project costs, ensuring they remain within budget.

Prepare and submit accurate and timely financial reports.

Negotiate contracts and manage subcontractor relationships.

Assess value variations and claims.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
