R&D Packaging Developer

IntroductieYou as R&D Packaging Developer play an important role in developing, optimizing and implementing existing and new to develop packaging formats for different business groups. By knowing both the technical opportunities, the consumer/customer demands, product requirements and regulatory standards, together with marketing, procurement and supply chain you bring unique fitting packaging concepts to the market. You are involved from concept development until implementation in the market.Functieomschrijving

• Develop and set the packaging specifications.
• evelop and set validation protocols for different packaging formats and materials.
• Hands on testing in the packaging lab and validation at packaging lines.
• Implement new and optimized packaging solutions.
• Collaborate closely with marketing, supply chain and procurement.
• Focus on new packaging development, value engineering and optimization programs, in close cooperation with material and packaging machine suppliers.

Vereisten

• Minimum hbo (University of professional education) working level, preferably in the area of Industrial Design or Technical Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of packaging development experience.
• Knowledge and expertise of packaging materials applied in different formats.
• Expertise in injection moulding and/or bag-in-box packaging is a pre.
• Project management skills to effectively run the packaging development part within a NPD project.
• Good co-operation skills with several levels, both within the organization and outside the organization.
• A real connector and driver, showing a strong affection with packaging development.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skill.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and stakeholder management.
