Job Description
Retrofit Coordinator job based in Cardiff. Working with a small consultancy to deliver decarbonisation work.

Your New Organisation
My client is a consultancy specialising in delivering innovative decarbonisation schemes for social housing providers. Their mission is to create sustainable, energy-efficient homes that improve the quality of life for residents while reducing carbon footprints.
Your New Role
You will need to be a qualified Level 5 Retrofit Coordinator to oversee and manage retrofit projects aimed at decarbonising social housing. This is a client-side role, requiring excellent communication and relationship-building skills. You will need previous experience within a construction discipline, either working on the client-side or as a contractor. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of these projects, from initial assessment through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage retrofit projects, ensuring they meet quality, time, and budgetary requirements.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues that arise.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Provide technical advice and support to clients and team members.
  • Promote best practices in energy efficiency and sustainability.
  • Identify and bring in new business opportunities to support the growth of the consultancy.

  • What You'll Need to Be Successful
    You will require a Level 5 qualification in Retrofit Coordination, including proven experience in managing retrofit construction projects. Possess strong knowledge of building regulations and energy efficiency standards, excellent project management and organisational skills, have the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders, using strong communication and interpersonal skills. You will need to demonstrate a commitment to sustainability and decarbonisation and have experience to identify and secure new business opportunities is preferred.
