This organisation offers services varying from commercial and residential property services to agricultural and auction services across Norfolk. Due to growth in the business, they are in the market for an ambitious Qualified Rural Surveyor to join their experienced team and take ownership of an exciting client portfolio. Your new role
As the new Rural Surveyor, you will be a valued member of the Rural Team, and join a wider business including residential and commercial teams. In your new role you will have the opportunity to be involved in diverse and exciting projects on a portfolio that varies from small hundred-acre plots, up to plots exceeding thousands of acres.
Here's a glimpse of what you can expect:

  • Environmental Stewardship: Contribute to the preservation and sustainability of rural landscapes.
  • Valuations: Assess rural properties for lending, taxation, estate planning, and disputes.
  • SFI/Grants: Help clients navigate funding opportunities to support their agricultural endeavours.
  • Contract Farming: Collaborate with farmers to optimise their operations.
  • Sales and Letting: Facilitate transactions involving farms, smallholdings, land, and cottages.
  • Compensation Claims: Assist clients in securing fair compensation for various purposes.
  • Legal Agreements: Prepare farm business tenancy agreements, grazing licences, and more.
  • Rural Planning and Diversification: Play a vital role in shaping the future of rural communities.

    What you'll need to succeed
  • To succeed in this role, the following qualifications and attributes are necessary:
  • MRICS qualified
  • Full member of the CAAV with FAAV status
  • Organised and detail-oriented
  • Practical understanding of agriculture
  • Excellent communication skills: Engage confidently with clients and colleagues.
  • Independent and collaborative: Show initiative while integrating into their cohesive team.
  • Tech-savvy: Utilise your computer skills to enhance efficiency.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and own transport: Be ready to travel and engage with clients throughout Norfolk.
