Job Description

Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into actionable data insights and reporting solutions
Estimate Effort for Projects
- Conduct effort estimations for various tasks and projects, ensuring alignment with project timelines and deliverables
Design Reporting Solutions
- Design and implement reporting and visualization solutions tailored to Finance and RSS, supporting data exploration and decision-making
Create and optimize SAC models to structure data for reporting and analytics
Build and Maintain SAC Stories
- Develop, maintain, and update SAC Stories, ensuring they effectively communicate key insights and support self-service analytics
Test and Troubleshoot Reports
- Conduct thorough testing of reports and dashboards, identifying and resolving any issues to ensure data accuracy and performance
Implement and Enforce Security Restrictions
- Configure and maintain security settings within SAC to protect sensitive data and adhere to data governance policies
Work closely with peers in an agile environment, participating in regular sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
Enhance Business Intelligence (BI) Capabilities
- Support the enhancement of BI capabilities by integrating SAC solutions with other business intelligence tools and platforms
Provide Training and Support
- Educate users on SAC functionalities and self-service capabilities, offering ongoing support to maximize tool adoption and usage
Monitor and Optimize SAC Performance
- Continuously monitor the performance of SAC models and stories, making adjustments to improve efficiency and user experience
Document Processes and Best Practices
- Maintain documentation on SAC processes, models, and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity within the team

Requirements

Proficiency in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with SAC, including report creation, model development, and data visualization.
SAP BW Expertise
- At least 5 years of experience working with SAP BW as a data source for analytics and reporting.
SAP HANA Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with SAP HANA, including data modeling and analytics integration
Business Objects Skills
- At least 3 years of experience with SAP Business Objects, particularly in Information Designer, Web Intelligence (Webi), and Lumira
SAC Live Connection Knowledge
- Proficiency in working with SAC Live Connection, with at least 2 years of experience
Data Import Experience in SAC
- Familiarity with SAC data import features to ensure efficient data transfer and integration
Experience in SAC Planning
- A minimum of 2 years working with SAC Planning functionalities for budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
BW Query Design Skills
- Experience with BW Query, using BeX or Query Designer in HANA Studio, to create and manage queries
Knowledge and experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies to effectively participate in an agile work environment
Strong Data Integration Skills
- Proficient in integrating data from SAP BW, SAP HANA, and other sources into SAC for comprehensive analysis
Business Intelligence Expertise
- Solid understanding of BI principles to develop meaningful and actionable reports and dashboards in SAC
