We are seeking a driven and self-starting Sales Lead to directly execute and deliver on sales initiatives across the UK financial services market. This role is crucial in driving new business acquisition, building strong client relationships, and leading PlannerPal's market expansion efforts. You will play a hands-on role in managing the sales pipeline, from lead generation through to deal closure, while collaborating closely with senior leadership on strategic priorities.
TasksKey Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy tailored to the UK financial services market to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Market Expansion: Identify and capitalise on new market opportunities, positioning PlannerPal as a leader in the financial services industry.
- Pipeline Management & Execution: Oversee and execute the sales pipeline, ensuring consistent lead generation, qualification, and closing processes.
- Client Relationships: Build and nurture strong relationships with enterprise clients, deeply understanding their needs to deliver tailored solutions.
- Sales Operations: Implement and optimise sales processes, tools, and metrics to ensure efficient, transparent sales activity across the organisation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to align sales efforts with product offerings and market demands.
- Revenue Forecasting: Provide accurate revenue forecasts and contribute to strategic planning and budgeting processes.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of sales experience, with a proven track record of selling into the UK financial advice and wealth management market, and driving revenue growth.
- Previous experience as a financial adviser or paraplanner is a plus, with a strong understanding of the financial advisory ecosystem.
- Demonstrable ability to manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing complex deals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Knowledge of AI-driven solutions, SaaS products, or similar technological innovations is highly desirable.
- A self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth start-up environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on execution and results.

What We Offer
- Competitive salary: £60,000 base
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): £130,000
