Sales Representative

A logistics company in London is looking for a Sales Representative to assist existing companies and expand their business.
Having a robust understanding of the import/export process, knowledge of transport (sea, air, land), and cargo insurance are all vital.
Business level of English language skills will be required.

Sales Representative Main Responsibilities:

1. Analysis of customer needs
2. Selection of optimum transport routes
3. Pricing and contract management
4. Planning and proposing logistics solutions
5. Maintaining commercial rights for existing customers and increasing customer share
6. Develop new customers and new business
7. Joint sales in collaboration with internal overseas offices
8. Responding to quotations and enquiries from UK and non-UK customers

Sales Representative Ideal Candidate:

1. Understanding of import/export processes
2. Knowledge of means of transport (sea, air, land)
3. Knowledge of cargo insurance
4. Understanding of customs procedures
5. Driving licence required
6. Business level English
7. PC skills (Microsoft office)
8. Some understanding of Japanese culture and Japanese language would be advantageous
