SAP ABAP Developer

Conexus are partnered with a leading client based in Switzerland who are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer for a freelance hybrid project. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a prestigious financial institution, developing and optimising SAP applications to support business processes.

Location: Switzerland (Hybrid - onsite & remote)
Languages: German (required), English (preferred)
Start Date: Immediate availability preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimise SAP ABAP applications in alignment with business needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design effective SAP solutions
• Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and enhancements of existing SAP applications
• Implement and test system changes, ensuring seamless integration with current systems
• Document technical specifications and assist in user training for system upgrades or new functionalities

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience as an SAP ABAP Developer, ideally within the finance or banking sectors
• Proficiency in SAP ABAP, including OO ABAP, and experience with SAP modules such as FI, CO, or HR
• Strong understanding of SAP system architecture and business processes
• Fluent German language skills; English proficiency is an advantage
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in a highly regulated environment
