About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and SC Cleared Interaction Designer for a contract position based in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing user-centered services and interfaces that provide seamless and accessible digital experiences within a government or secure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with UX designers, developers, product managers, and stakeholders to design and deliver intuitive digital services.

• Create wireframes, prototypes, and interaction specifications to communicate design concepts effectively.

• Conduct usability testing and incorporate feedback into design iterations.

• Ensure designs comply with government digital service (GDS) standards and accessibility guidelines.

• Contribute to the development of design patterns, standards, and best practices.

• Document and present design decisions to stakeholders and team members.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Active SC Clearance (Mandatory).

• Proven experience as an Interaction Designer within a government or secure environment.

• Strong proficiency in interaction design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.

• Understanding of user-centered design principles and usability best practices.

• Experience conducting user research and usability testing.

• Familiarity with GDS design standards and accessibility requirements.

• Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience working in an Agile environment.

• Knowledge of service design and customer journey mapping.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
