Secondary English & Maths Tutor - DagenhamWe are looking for an English & Maths tutor to work 1:1 with Secondary students to help further their education as they approach the end of their school lives, based in Dagenham.

Position - Secondary English and Maths Tutor Location - Dagenham Job Type - Part Time (15 hours a week) Salary - £30 - £35per hour

Roles and Responsibilities: Conduct 1:1 tutoring sessions in English and Maths for secondary school students. Assess student's strengths and weaknesses and develop customised lesson plans. Provide guidance and support in homework assignments, test preparation, and study skills. Create a positive and motivating learning environment that fosters student engagement and enthusiasm. Monitor and track student's progress and provide feedback to parents and guardians as necessary. Stay current with the secondary school curriculum and teaching methods to ensure effective instruction. Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student performance.

Qualifications and Requirements: Teaching certification or relevant tutoring experience preferred but not essential Strong knowledge of the secondary school English and Maths curriculum. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, adaptability, and a passion for teaching. Ability to inspire and motivate students.
