Semi Senior - Business Services Part qualified ACCA

Reed Accountancy are seeking a Semi-Senior Accountant who is willing to join the expanding Business Services department of a Top 60 firm in London. This role combines office-based responsibilities with client-facing opportunities, working in small teams under the guidance of a Senior and partner. The position offers a balance of year-end and management accounts preparation, along with draft tax computations, for a diverse portfolio of clients.

• Preparation of accounts from client portfolio within specified budget timescales.
• Supervision and training of junior staff, providing support to Accounts Senior.
• Production of well-presented draft accounts and accounts files for review.
• Preparation of VAT returns and management accounts.
• Managing general office-based duties and ad hoc specialist assignments as they arise.

Essential:

• Currently studying towards ACA or ACCA qualification.
• Experience in full accounts production from basic prime books and records to computerised accounting packages.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Quickbooks software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of English, both written and verbal.
• Flexible attitude with the ability to prioritise workloads.

Desirable:

• Knowledge of Pro-Audit, CCH, and Microsoft Office Products, especially Excel.
