Salary: Up to £40,000.00 per annum dependent uponexperience

Location: Underley Garden,Kirkby Lonsdale, LA6 2DZ

Hours: 40 hours per week; Monday to Friday, 8.00am -4.00pm

Contract: Maternity Cover (9 Months); Term Timeonly

Weare looking for an SEN Teacher to join our team atUnderley Garden School based in Kirkby Lonsdale.

Purpose of the Job

You will be working with the Headteacher on developing acurriculum and developing the school. You will create a positiveand safe learning environment for the pupils and promote positiverelationships between peers.

We are looking forSEN Teachers who have a therapeutic approach to their teaching andlearning. Teachers with a background in Early Years and PrimaryTeaching would be suitable for this position but must be preparedto teach students of all ages. Experience of working withAutistic pupils, willingness to teach and lead on a curriculumarea(s). We need people who share our vision to buildincredible futures by empowering vulnerable students in the UK, tobe happy and to make their way in the world.

Educated to Qualified Teacher Status, you will be calm,engaging, resilient, and have an innovative style of teaching,motivated by helping every pupil to reach theirpotential.
