For our UK-based team, we are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Cloud Architect. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in cloud architecture consulting, preferably built within a global services organization, and a comprehensive understanding of Azure cloud services. The consulting engagements will be primarily in the local region but could extend to (remote) delivery to customers in the Nordics, South Africa, or the Benelux.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Architect and deliver Azure cloud solutions, with a focus on IT infrastructure transformation, application modernization, and cloud security.
2. Lead technology decision-making in complex transformation programs, ensuring they align with customer business goals and IT strategies.
3. Actively engage in consulting services, from concept through implementation, including infrastructure and applications on Azure.
4. Drive the adoption of Azure cloud services, leveraging the best technologies to support the customer requirements.
5. Provide strategic guidance and consulting to clients, promoting best practices and innovative solutions for cloud transformation.
6. Engage in pre-sales activities to help shape engagements or contribute to RFI/RFPs as a subject matter expert.

1. Over 5 years of experience in cloud consulting, preferably with experience in a global services organization.
2. Demonstrable experience leading and driving technology decisions in large, complex transformation programs involving Azure cloud technologies.
3. Solid understanding of the wider IT landscape, with domain expertise in areas like IT infrastructure transformation, application modernization, cloud security, and specific Azure solutions.
4. Strong understanding of the modern IT landscape, including DevOps-related tooling, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code.
5. Relevant Azure certifications required.
6. Multi-cloud experience and certifications such as TOGAF are a significant advantage.
7. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
8. Strong commercial acumen and the ability to drive consultative selling through best-in-class delivery.
