Senior Content Designer (Service Transformation) - Central Government - Contract

I am actively recruiting for a Senior Content Designer (Service Transformation) to start a 6 month with a large Central Government organisation. This is a 6 month contract paying up to £550/day inside IR35 and split between remote working and onsite in the nearest location to the associate across the UK.

The associate is expected to lead the creation and improvement of user-centred and high-quality content, across the Service Transformation portfolio. Experience of working in a Service Transformation portfolio within a Central Government department is essential for this role. This is due to the nature of the role as it provides the opportunity to work on some of the biggest and most complex services, standards and guidance across all departments. Lots of variety and opportunity for impact.

The Role:

• Designing, developing and managing content that helps people understand how to meet required standards and make great services
• Using analytics data, user feedback and user research to identify the needs of users, map user journeys and inform content strategy
• Using data and research to develop inclusive and accessible content
• Contributing to the cross-government user-centred design community
• Helping colleagues and stakeholders from other disciplines understand what content design is, why it's important and how to work with content designers
