FP&A Specialist / Senior Controller (m/f/x)

Graz (AUT) hybrid or IR remote Full-time Immediate Start

What you'll be doing:
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: You'll prepare comprehensive budgets and financial forecasts for the whole group, prepare MQY financial statements, and own annual budget planning.

  • Variance / Ad-Hoc Analysis: You'll conduct monthly variance analysis, identifying and explaining deviations from budgeted forecasts, and summarizing key findings for management. You'll engage in special financial and business studies and exchange with other departments to provide strategic insights.

  • Financial Reporting: You'll create monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, preparing target-actual comparisons and highlighting the company's financial status and performance.

  • Financial Modelling: You'll develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making, including analysis for new initiatives, cost-saving opportunities, and capital investments.

  • Performance Management: You'll analyze and interpret key figures and support the development of KPIs and dashboards that track and report on financial performance and business intelligence.

  • Projects: You'll drive new projects - e.g.: reorganization of project controlling, further development of the new ERP system, optimization of our controlling and reporting tools and processes.

  • Collaboration and Communication: You'll work closely with team members across departments to ensure accuracy and alignment with strategic goals, enhancing data quality and sharing financial insights, including presenting findings to senior management and stakeholders.

What you bring to the role:
  • You have a completed education in Finance, Controlling, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

  • You have a minimum of 5 years of (international) experience in financial planning & budgeting, analysis, and controlling.

  • You have strong analytical skills and proficiency in ERP software (preferred SAP), Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • You display initiative in anticipating and exceeding the business demands of senior-level business managers.

  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment and exhibit proactive entrepreneurship as well as flexibility.

  • You have excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written), with the ability to present complex financial information clearly. Basic German skills (at least willingness to learn) are highly appreciated.

  • You network well internally and internationally and can quickly recognize, learn, and implement connections.

  • You have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects independently, accurately, and reliably.

  • You are an open-minded, initiative-taking, and enthusiastic personality with a passion for the subject area, high self-motivation, and a solution-oriented "can-do attitude".

  • Compensation: For a contract in Austria: The minimum salary (considering Austrian collective agreement) is EUR 70.000, - (all in) gross per year. However, we offer a salary according to local conditions and in line with the market, depending on your specific qualifications and professional experience.
