We are a leading Construction Consultancy, known for delivering high-quality cost management and advisory services across a broad spectrum of sectors. Due to continued growth and exciting new project wins, we are looking for a Senior Cost Manager to join our dynamic team.

About the Role

As a Senior Cost Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering best-in-class cost consultancy services on a portfolio of high-profile retail and commercial projects. You'll work closely with our clients and project teams to ensure budgets are met, risks are managed, and value is maximised at every stage of the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage and lead cost management services across multiple projects.
  2. Work directly with blue chip retail clients, understanding their unique requirements and delivering tailored solutions.
  3. Prepare cost plans, feasibility studies, and tender documentation.
  4. Lead procurement activities and contract negotiations.
  5. Monitor project finances, control change management, and provide regular cost reporting.
  6. Mentor and support junior members of the team.
  7. Ensure compliance with client standards, industry regulations, and best practices.

What We're Looking For

  1. Proven experience in a cost management role, ideally within a consultancy environment.
  2. Strong background in retail and commercial construction projects.
  3. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  4. Chartered status (MRICS or working towards) is highly desirable.
  5. A proactive, client-focused mindset with the ability to lead from the front.
  6. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
