  • Communicate technical insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, emphasising the impact of operational research in resolving business challenges.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders, demonstrating the advantages of operational research in achieving business goals.
What you'll bring to British Airways:

  • Strong communication abilities to present complex issues clearly and influence business decisions, especially through operational research applications.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and other programming languages, concentrating on developing operational research models and applications.
  • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and engaging stakeholders at all levels to deliver impactful solutions.
Your experience:
  • A numerate degree focused on data science, advanced analytics, or operational research.
  • 2-4 years of experience applying analytics or data science techniques at scale, with a strong emphasis on operational research methodologies.
  • A thorough understanding of specific business areas and key initiatives within British Airways, particularly in leveraging operational research to optimise business outcomes.
What we offer:

We believe that all the people who work with us should feel valued for the part they play. It's one of the reasons our rewards go far beyond a competitive salary.

From the day you join us, you'll get access to brilliant staff travel benefits including unlimited basic and premium standby tickets on British Airways flights. You'll also receive up to 30 discounted 'Hotline' airfares per year for yourself, friends, and family.

At British Airways you'll have the chance to take on new challenges and move forward in a way that feels right for you. We encourage all those who work for us to consider opportunities right across our business to help you develop and progress.
