Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Director of Finance in Paris or London to lead and drive key financial operations and strategies, reporting directly to the CFO. The Senior Director will have oversight of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), reporting-including preparation for CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) compliance-procurement, treasury management, and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A). This is a key leadership role that requires a strategic, hands-on approach, working cross-functionally across the organization to support Akeneo's growth objectives.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

  • Lead the FP&A function, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
  • Develop financial models to support executive decision-making.
  • Provide financial analysis and reporting to drive business performance.

Financial Reporting & CSRD Preparation:

  • Ensure accurate financial reports aligned with IFRS/GAAP standards working closely with the Head of Tax and Accounting.
  • Lead CSRD compliance efforts in collaboration with the CSR officer.
  • Manage timely internal and external financial reporting, including investor communications.

Procurement:

  • Establish and refine procurement processes to ensure cost-effective purchasing and vendor management.
  • Align procurement with financial goals and sustainability objectives.

Treasury & Cash Management:

  • Manage global treasury operations, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and banking relationships.
  • Implement strategies to optimize cash flow and working capital across different regions.
  • Oversee foreign exchange risk and hedging strategies in a global context.

Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A):

  • Lead financial due diligence and integration for potential acquisitions and other strategic investments.
  • Work closely with the executive team to evaluate and execute M&A opportunities, ensuring alignment with Akeneo's long-term growth strategy.

Leadership & Team Development:

  • Build and mentor a high-performing finance team.
  • Foster a culture of financial discipline and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • You have proven experience in corporate finance roles, including FP&A, financial reporting, treasury, procurement and M&A.
  • You have experience working in the SaaS industry.
  • You have knowledge of financial regulations, including IFRS/GAAP and familiarity with CSRD or sustainability-related reporting.
  • You have experience managing cross-functional finance teams across different regions.
  • You have excellent analytical and financial modelling skills (Excel, Google Sheet, Anaplan).
  • You have strong communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • You speak English fluently.
