The impact you'll have
This role is an integral part of the reporting and wider finance team ensuring there is
robust control over the balance sheet, identifying and reporting on risks and
opportunities. Whilst this role sits in the Reporting team, reporting into the Head of
Reporting, there will be strong interactions with Financial Operations, Treasury, and
FP&A.

Your day-to-day:

  1. Manage the monthly balance sheet reviews to deliver an accurate financial
    position and high-quality reconciliations, all completed in a timely manner.
  2. Produce high-quality monthly balance sheet reporting.
  3. Provide quality variance analysis that really understands the key drivers and can identify potential risks and opportunities faced by the business.
  4. Drive accurate and insightful analysis on the larger risk areas of the balance sheet being trade creditors, debtors, and associated provisioning.
  5. Lead a team and develop them to be subject matter experts across the balance sheet,
    providing insights and support to the wider finance team and stakeholders within
    the business.
  6. Drive continuous improvement regarding the team's process and control
    environment - seeking efficiencies.
  7. Ensure reporting is compliant with IFRS and local reporting requirements.

Your skillset:

  1. Qualified Accountant with 4 years post qualification - ACA/ CIMA/ ACCA.
  2. Extremely diligent and delivers on time.
  3. Organised, task-focused, and will go the extra mile to get things done.
  4. Excellent communicator, in written and oral skills.
  5. Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Experience in managing, leading, and developing a team.

Desirable:

  1. Experience in the tech/ travel sector.
  2. G Suite experience.
  3. Practice experience.
