THE ROLE
The Senior Global Operations Manager will report directly into the Global Operations Director. This role provides the exciting opportunity to lead and drive strategic operational alignment across all departments. This role is the superhero of the Business gluing all our teams together to identify, improve and monitor efficiencies, process and compliance. You will get to work on exciting projects which provide strategic operational direction to cross-functional teams, some of these are detailed in the responsibilities below. This role also has great exposure and responsibility around implementing and maintaining the Company's Culture, Values and training across the organisation; while it continues to scale globally.
The Senior Global Operations Manager is passionate about delivering excellence and instilling Elevate's values across all aspects of the business. Ensuring excellent execution of work for our clients and ensuring Elevate is the leading global staffing agency.
This role is full time (Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm), and is a fixed term contract position until March 2025, there may be opportunity for an extension but the role will be temporary. This role also works within our current hybrid working structure, where you will be expected to work within our office in London (Shoreditch) at a minimum 3 days per week.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Business Process Support provision of continuous improvement by investigating ways to enhance the quality of processes and tools. Be the go to person for team members looking to improve efficiencies in their department, partner with stakeholders to suggest and guide teams to become more efficient in their work processes whilst utilising the tools we have as a Business.
- Monitor and ensure global compliance; working closely with department heads to innovate and work through any operational challenges, improvement and propose initiatives to transform the way the company operates.
- Geographic Expansion: Leading on supporting the business with network location growth, via identification, onboarding and management of our Partner Agencies ensuring they are operating effectively and within Elevate guidelines/expectations.
- Drive efficiencies and execute new market implementation; develop and refine global blueprints.
- Global Delivery: Define and drive on all global operational processes; with support of department heads - be that glue that holds us all together.
- Mitigate business risk by overseeing regulatory processes and ensuring adherence to required regulations in all areas of operations.
- Training, Learning & Development: Work with the Global Operations Director and HR on Learning and Development, ensuring we have a platform and build necessarily training modules for all team members to develop in their careers.
- ESG: Guiding in our efforts to become more environmentally, socially, and economically responsible. Developing and implementing strategies to minimise the organisation's environmental impact, reduce waste, and promote sustainable practices.
- Culture: You will be instrumental in driving cultural health, suggesting new procedures and policies to enable a positive employee experience. Lead our local market Office Managers on building an implementing our fabulously busy annual social calendar.
- Leadership: Develop and manage the overall growth of the operations team, responsibility for Line Management of Office Managers.
- Systems: Lead on new platform integration; to improve process and operational efficiencies, globally.
- Reporting: Enhance and lead with incident management and improve both internal and external communication processes.
- Deliver the following reports: monthly operations overview to include culture review, and internal systems.
- GDPR: Management of global Data Protection laws: policies, procedures, and associated activities.
REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience leading in an Operations team, ideally in a business operating globally.
- Experience as an effective Line Manager.
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness
- At least 2 years working across multiple departments and functions, ideally across multiple offices/ international locations, branches and/or facilities
- Previous experience or exposure to working on ESG items
- Willingness to travel approx. 3 - 4 times per year for short periods (
- Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, HRIS systems, and comfortable learning new technical systems as needed
- Awareness of industry and business acumen
- Ability to identify business challenges andm provide solutions in a collaborative manner
- Disciplined multitasker, adaptable, nimble and results driven.
- Ability to create enthusiasm through inspiration and purposeful communication
- Above all else, willing to learn!
