Senior L&D Training Manager, WW FBA Learning and Development

Worldwide Fulfillment by Amazon (WW FBA) Global Learning and Development (GLAD) is the centralized function for creating and curating learning experiences for WW FBA employees. We ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver excellence daily. Our team fosters and maintains a culture of continuous learning and ownership within WW FBA. We are seeking a highly motivated Program Manager to join our team and support a positive employee experience for our FBA Support Operations employees.
Key job responsibilities
This role will focus on redefining and scaling the operations training program in our Bangalore location and supporting other global sites as needed. This role will require a leader who delivers results and demonstrates strong bias for action on behalf of our customers. In addition to continuously driving and improving the execution of this core mission, the role will work closely with their cross-functional counterparts in operations, policy, product management, engineering, and business teams to ensure new product launches are supported by associates, develop and grow business opportunities with advanced associate upskilling methodology, and enhance our associates and customer experience. A successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment, leveraging analytical expertise and resourcefulness to autonomously deliver successful results. Candidate must be flexible in working hours as the role will partner with other training leaders across geographies.
A day in the life:
- Represent your site's training needs on the global L&D team and launch global training initiatives at your site.
- Liaise with other site training managers, Operations Managers, and global leaders to ensure training deliverables meet global standards and site-specific needs.
- Responsible for training delivery of approved training content, quality and coordination for all new hire, refresher, and launch trainings.
- Deliver our blended learning (instructor led training both onsite, remote and eLearning) classes and programs for new hires, new skills (cross-training), continuing education (upskilling), and refreshers as necessary for site associates.
- Observe and coach trainers to ensure quality learner experience.
- Create, foster and maintain a high-quality performance improvement program that offers fair and consistent feedback to our associates.
- Identify knowledge gaps, training opportunities, and improvement initiatives.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
•5+ years of work experience in the areas of training delivery, operations, program management; or equivalent business experience.
•Experience in assessing performance gaps, analyzing learning needs, designing and developing customer-centric solutions, and evaluating the effectiveness of learning programs.
•Experienced in analytics, including qualitative and quantitative methods.
•Experience using learning development and evaluation methodologies.
•Verbal, written and presentation skills are required.
•Extensive knowledge of MS Office.
•Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and generate innovative solutions in an extremely fast-paced environment.
•Ability to work independently, work with senior leadership, be self-motivated, and flexible in approaching responsibilities and change.
•Self-directed worker; able to operate with little direction.
•Superior organizational and time management skills.
•Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects effectively and maintain a high level of attention to detail, with a proactive approach to problem-identification and solving.
•Ability to deliver results with minimal supervision in a dynamic and often ambiguous environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
•Additional work experience in Content compliance policy, risk management will be preferred.
•Background in handling content escalations.
•Experience in process improvement using Lean and Kaizen methods.
•Knowledge on how to use data and analytics to make informed decisions.
•Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and fast-paced work environment.
