Job Description

ServiceNow is seeking a Senior Manager, Presales Solution Architects, with a focus on Hyperscalers who is an experienced leader of senior technical, global teams, and a customer facing domain expert. This role is well versed in architecting and developing solutions on the Now Platform and has significant working knowledge of the Hyperscaler (Azure, AWS, GCP etc.) business and technology.

The global SC Solution Architecture Team is part of our pre-sales organization and brings deep technical platform expertise, real-world experience, as well as excellent presentation skills to consult with our prospective customers and build confidence in how ServiceNow is the Platform for Modern Business. We also support the broader pre-sales organization by sharing insights on how they can apply ServiceNow best practice and industry standard approaches to their customer's technical challenges.

Members of this team have an opportunity to drive the continued growth and success of ServiceNow, through unlocking new partnerships and driving the "Better together" approach for our clients and our Hyperscaler partners.

As a Senior Manager, you will provide technical expertise, coaching, and expand the impact of a senior team of technical experts who support the Hyperscaler Sales team and customers during pre-sales engagements. This role also partners with peers across workflows to go wide and deep on solution architecture and positioning during complex sales cycles.

What you Get to Do

  • Lead and develop a global team of technical experts to drive maximum impact through scale
  • Provide subject matter mentoring and training to team.
  • Develop and grow strong partnerships and act as a thought leader with your internal sales counterparts, and external Hyperscaler partners and clients
  • Work closely with Product Management and Go-To-Market on upcoming releases and provide feedback from customer interaction
  • Keep up on complementary technology and external trends to identify opportunities to broaden the use of the Now Platform outside of typical domains
  • Provide subject matter expertise and perspective on unique differentiators and be able to convey architecture knowledge/experience regarding how ServiceNow best interoperates and co-exists with cloud partners and platforms
  • Present at executive briefings and marketing events
  • Contribute to and help maintain internal forums and asset libraries to enable innovation at scale
Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

  • 5+ years of successfully managing a technical, senior team
  • 8+ years of experience architecting and delivering complex solutions in the SaaS landscape, ServiceNow + Cloud Solutions experience highly preferred
  • Deep knowledge of at least one Hyperscaler service model and marketplace (eg. Azure, AWS, GCP), and how they integrate with companies like ServiceNow
  • Presentation skills including public speaking, meeting facilitation, workshops, and white boarding
  • Ability to quickly understand technology through instruction and self-training
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work within a multi-discipline team focused on delivering high-quality output in short timeframes
  • Experience partnering with a large field sales organization preferred
  • Preferred location - anywhere in the USA
