Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Exciting role to help lead the mechanical specialism in the London office.

Your new company
Is a growing MEP and sustainability practice with 4 offices nationally. Their London team is experiencing a period of growth due to some key project wins within the commercial sector. Projects tend to be a mixture of residential and commercial projects with an emphasis on a holistic-sustainability focused design approach. With a design focused culture, an informal office feel, and a love of socialising, the London team are seeking a like-minded engineer to take a new role as a mechanical lead.

Your new role
You will take a bit of a lead on all mechanical matters for the London team. You will work across all projects, work closely with your clients, attend sites, supervise the work of junior engineers, and actively work on mechanical designs. You will also support the London office leadership by working closely with the office lead.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be working as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at a quality consultancy. You will have experience working across multiple project types and buildings, including some experience of commercial, residential, or education projects. You will have a creative and problem-solving mentality, able to take complex challenges and find excellent design solutions. You have an excellent client-facing personality, and be able to work closely with other industry professionals. You will have relevant qualifications in engineering.
