Charging them will put a significant strain on the National Grid. It's predicted peak demand will increase by about a third. Job Description:

As a Product Manager, you will:

Responsibilities:
  • Define, design, and deliver cutting-edge SaaS solutions for EV charging, ensuring they meet the demands of charger manufacturers, utilities, and consumers.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to guarantee our projects are completed on time and meet high-quality standards.

Roadmap Planning

  • Apply your industry experience to create and implement a clear, strategic product roadmap.
  • Prioritize product development to enhance consumer experience and meet the evolving needs of the industry.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with charger manufacturers, grid players, other solution partners, aggregators, and utilities to ensure our product aligns with their expectations and requirements.
  • Gather and prioritize customer feedback to continually improve our SaaS offerings.

Market Analysis

  • Conduct thorough market and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
  • Adapt our product strategy based on industry shifts and technological advancements.
You'll be:
  • Acting as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding.
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager in the SaaS and EV charging or Energy industry.
  • Expertise in writing and implementing product roadmaps for mobile applications.
  • Gaining a deep understanding of customer experience, identifying and filling product gaps, and generating new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience, and drive growth and revenue.
  • A customer-centric mindset with a track record of delivering excellent consumer experiences.
  • Creating buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners by scoping and prioritizing activities based on business and customer impact.
  • Working closely with the engineering team to deliver quick time-to-market features and products and building and improving our APIs.
  • Driving product launches by working with your product management team members.
  • Representing the company to customers and industry bodies, providing and soliciting feedback on products and services.
  • Owning and creating technical documentation.
  • Developing expertise in all things charging, from OCPP to car APIs and beyond.
  • Working together with the growth team as the product expert and enabler.
Ideally, you'll have:
  • A passion for writing great requirements.
  • Experience with building products for connected devices/IoT or knowledge of the electric vehicles/energy space.
  • Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done.
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • MS/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of APIs and modern web technologies.
  • Previously developed software products either as a developer or as an architect.
