Senior Project Manager

Morrison Energy Services is currentlylooking to recruit a Senior ProjectManager to work onour ElectricalTransmission frameworks, nationwide,with initial project being based i n the Somerset/Devonarea.

Asa Senior Project Manager youwill be part of our Electrical Transmission managementteam who are responsible for managing the civil andM&E delivery teams of the National Grid EPC Substations, andM&E RIIO-T2Frameworks throughout theUK.

Our Electrical Transmission businessunit is working on behalf of clients including National Grid andSSE on a range of Infrastructure Project Development and EPCCapital projects.

As a SeniorProject Manager your duties & responsibilities willinclude:

Leadingthe construction team in delivering a portfolio of M&E projectsthrough the end to end process from project initiation tocompletion

Strategic health, safety and environmentalmanagement and leadership to drive the highest standards

Delivery of the projectsportfolio to the agreed time, cost and qualityrequirements

Work closely with the planning team to ensuredelivery programmes are in place and progress is monitored

Drive the Project team ethos toensure the Construction Manager, Commercial Manager, Design Leadand Project Engineers function as a cohesive management team

Drive risk management for the Projects

Provide leadership and guidanceon technical and contractual matters to ensure timelyresolution Contribute to new contracttender bids using industry knowledge Support the preparation ofmonthly CVR in conjunction with the CommercialManager

Being commercially astute, lead the management teamto deliver the balanced scorecard and meet/exceed contractfinancial terms and targets

Skills & KnowledgeRequirements:

Previous project management experience gainedwithin electrical infrastructure

Knowledge of the ElectricalTransmission and Distribution industry is essential

Able to demonstrate ownership of a portfolio ofprojects of varying values and complexities

Effective communicationskills

Effective relationship managementskills

Appreciation and understanding of commercialmanagement

Flexible andadaptable

Able to work autonomously andcollaboratively

Hold a relevant Project Management qualification orequivalent

A full driving licence and willingness to travelfrequently
